I'd have to disagree with some of the people above. This poem is based firmly on faith--those who have not experienced it cannot relate to it. I like how you kept things consistent--why you believe, and have faith in God. The true meaning of it is actually still a mystery to 'all' Christians--we are finding more faith from Him everday, like a present that keeps unwrapping with a little trinket each wonderful moment in our lives. The more faith you find from Him, the more substantial you'd be able to make the poem. It's actually about experience of what you're writing about, not experience in writing at all
There's a sense of peace that's embodied within the poem, that makes it's essence so very unique from most others. I think you know where it comes from.
And yes, he does breathe life into us. Even though he breathed life into Adam, and the line continues from him, don't we share that gust of life? His breath does not die. And the Holy Spirit will continue to spread throughout people, and work in people.
