On Opening the Chat

The YWS Chat can be opened by any 18+ administrator/moderator/junior moderator at any point in time. This is for safety reasons -- this rule is in place to keep you safe!

As such, please be respectful of the moderators who have this ability and do not PM them asking them to open the Chat! Please remember that mods are people too and our lives do not revolve around opening the Chat for you. If an 18+ mod happens to be on and wants to, he/she will open the Chat. Please don't be rude and selfish and ask for them to open the Chat and be grateful for when it is open.

And remember -- behave yourselves! The Chat still has its regular Rules and the present mod reserves the right to close Chat if too many people are misbehaving.

Additionally, if you are in the Chat while the Chat is closed, you WILL be banned from Chat.

If anyone PMs a moderator or JM about opening the chat, you will be banned from the chat for one week.
