degrees of infatuation

so im writing a short story about a boy and his progression of love for a girl. i need some words that describe different levels of a crush. something on the lines of first stetting eyes on, to sleepless nights because of her. also different words that have the same meaning as a "crush" im super stuck on this story so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey there,

Well, somewhere in between the crush and the sleepless nights is slight admiration - for example, they would just pop into your head every now and again at really random points. Or you might dream about them. You get the butterflies in your stomach when you bump into them and you feel a little dizzy when you talk to them. There's also the strange little day dreams that occur at random intervals - they would be a good thing to write about.
