Who am I?
This is the question I am trying to answer.
It's not the question of my name, religion or nationality,
It is about my personality.
Sometimes shy, sometimes outspoken.
Sometimes happy, sometimes mad.
I want to fit in, but then again, I want to stand out.
I hate to be judged by my looks, but that's exactly what everyone does.
People think I am something, someone.
I am not the person of their perceptions.
But how can I tell them who I exactly am,
if I myself am not sure?

I know this isn't so good..but couldn't resist posting it anyway! ^_^

Hope you had fun reading it!

It is much better than you think. For some reason or another it flows pretty well and is a bit catchy.

Who am I?

This is the question I am trying to answer.

It's not the question of my name, religion or nationality,

I would personally change the word nationality to ethnicity which are very similar and it will help it flow a bit better. Nationality just has too many syllables.

It is about my personality.

Sometimes shy, sometimes outspoken.

This suggestion doesn't really matter too much, but it is just a preference of mine. I would take out the comma and use the word and. I think it would sound a bit better

Sometimes happy, sometimes mad.

Let me re-use the earlier suggestion because if you do change the other line, you must be consistent: I would take out the comma and use the word and. I think it would sound a bit better

I want to fit in, but then again, I want to stand out.

I hate to be judged by my looks, but that's exactly what everyone does.

People think I am something, someone.

I am not the person of their perceptions.

But, how can I tell them who I exactly am,

There is no need for the comma after But.

if I myself am not sure?

Very good poem that reads very nicely and has a good message. Well done.

the only thing i can say is:

And all those things beyond the mask

Today I'm sad; tomorrow I'll be happy,
And yesterday I was so cruel to you.
There is so much that you don't know about me
And all those things behind my mask…

Each day I hide the real me from the outside,
A different me, a side that you don't know about.
I'm wearing masks so you won't see the person,
Who cries and easily breaks down…

Disguising my identity so I will be a hero,
So I could rescue everybody from their grief.
I have no time to possess my own sadness,
I have no time to suffer and to scream out loud…

I have to be the best for everyone's around me,
I have to realize and carry out their dreams.
If you could only see what's underneath my body,
If you could only understand what's hidden deep in me…

I'm so exhausted of these never ending hideaways,
I wish that all of you would see me without the mask …
But wait a minute (!) Either I don't know who I really am now –
There's too much things beyond the mask…

written by beyond the mask (me :])

that's all i think...(?)

wish a nice week and that you'll find waht you're searching for :]

Oh my goodness, I loved it especially those three stanza's. I didn't know you were a poet? It is a free verse isn't it? Anyway, keep up the good work. :D WELL DONE.
Scared are you?

OH MY GOD.
i love this...
i think its good,.
some people on this website think if your poetry doesn't rhyme it isn't good.
and same with anything else...
if it's not typical its not good.
but this poem is original and if people think its not good their a part of that group who thinks all of these people hard work needs to be typical or carbon copies.
good job.
I'd like to see more :)
"isn't it supposed to be like this? the glory of first love, and all that. it's incredible, isn't it, the difference between reading about something, seeing it in the pictures, and experiencing it?"---twilight
