A small biography for my character in a novel im starting

Camille Watson was born in a small town in Kentucky, called Tyler. When she was born, her mother ran out on her and her father, leaving her without the guidance or care of a mother. On her 13th birthday, her father, John Watson, announced that they were moving all the way to Durlan, Wyoming. She would have to leave her friends and grandmother behind all because her dad had bought some Herfords and 150 acres of land.

When they arrive, Camille is overwhelmed by the beauty, her new home sat a few miles away from some mountains and it turned them purple at sunrise and sunset. She is also hoping that theres some wild mustangs around, since she had to sell her horse Alamo because they couldnt afford to bring him along.....

I know its bad im a suckish writer but i would love some constructive crits. You can even get harsh if you want.

Ok so is she going to be 13 in the story?

At the moment there is not really anything else to say...maybe a bit more about her personality and lifestyle? At the moment you are just giving us the basics so I cant really crit this :S

You need to add a bit more conflict in her life, if you want to make a story out of this. ^^ Or maybe not in her life... but you have to add conflict somewhere, otherwise it's not going to go anywhere, and that's sad! Also, when I read this, I wondered how her dad, a single parent, could manage to afford this place, which is probably worth several million dollars. So an explanation on that might be nice.
