Out flew the web, and floated wide,
The mirror cracked from side to side.

**It's not dead, I was waiting for you to post, and you happened to post about an hour after I went away for the week :P**

Deltax

"Bloodlines and Revenge." the Greek repeated, glaring at her, "This is because my father killed Hector, then."

Briseis turned on him with a snarl, "Achilles murdered my cousin! Murdered him and then dragged his body around the city walls."

"You forget, witch, that Hector first killed my father's cousin. And do not think that just because I am not carrying my sword that I cannot kill you."

He took a step forward, only to be pushed back by Hesione. "No, Deltax," she said, "We might need her still. And besides, the Ritual..."

He smiled a little, "The Ritual binds me to Troy, and all I have to do is protect this land for a while. I just need to keep you and the kingdom alive, and killing this witch won't prevent either of those."

She was mounted and was on her way to the Greek's camp but why was she here? She guessed there was nothing better to do.

Hesione finished hurling the contents of her stomach into the vase. Two months since she had become Troys queen. Two months since the Ritual. Two months since... Well, what ways done was done. Her maid was standing at her side with some water. "Get Briseis and Deltax."she told her, "Tell them I have news. News that Deltax ,especially, will be glad to hear." The maid bowred and ran off. Hesione sighed. "What a tangled web this is." she muttered.

Deltax

He stepped into the throne room, taking a moment to glare at Briseis. Two months hadn't been even remotely enough to clear the waters between them. He turned to Hesione, "Good news, I hear?"

Hesione and Deltax turned as Briseis entered the room. "Alcemene says that you have news for me child." she said, giving Deltax a civil nod. While the two would never be friends, they had reached a shaky truce of toleration. Hesione took a breathe. "I wanted to tell you both before I make this public." she said, her voice shaky. She turned to Deltax. "Deltax, in seven months time, gods willing, you will be released from your vow to Troy. You can return to Greece." Shock spread across his face as her words registered. "You're pr-?!" he sputtered. A cold smile came across Briseis face. Hesione nodded. "Yes. I'm pregnant."

SHe had been asigned a post. It was more a boring post for the past few months. She didn't have anything against Troy, it was just boring. SHe wanted action. It was her forte. Something unusual would be nice. Something out of the ordinary. SHe watched a few guards pass. They knew not to look her way. She'd beaten enough for them to have leared their leason.

*Okay. *Shrug*

Grave:

SHe heard a horn. It was the battle one. She smiled and watched the gaurds run for the gate. She ran too. SHe saw the gate afire and ran faster. She pulled the sward from her belt and she disapeared into the smoke that ingulfed the guard. Bursting through to the other side she saw a small set of horsed men.

Turning she saw the stable boy ran through with her horse. He let the hore run for itself as she ran for it. She grabbed the sadle and used all her strength to swing up onto the mount. With her battle spirit snaged they wouldn't be able to take her away from the fight. Not unless they surendered.

*I'm not sure witch country or what not they're from.*

**Sorry this took me so long**

Deltax:

He really had no idea what to say. On the one hand he was thrilled that he would be able to return to Greece in just seven months, on the other, there was the fact that the next heir to Troy would be his child. What does that make me?

He thanked the gods as he was saved from any kind of decision as the sound of steel on steel rang from outside. He drew himself up, "I'll go and deal with that...after all, that is my role here." He glared at Briseis again, if he was going to be forced to fight soldiers of Greece. He glanced out on of the windows. Not Greeks. He thought, Persians.

He strode towards his chambers - he carried his sword with him at all times, of course, but he couldn't wear his father's armour constantly.

**I'm just making them Persians to save Deltax from any kind of moral quandary just yet. The Greeks can show up again later.**
