The Young Writers Society Has A Bank Account

Starting today, the Young Writers Society has its own bank account with HSBC, as well as a PO Box that I got earlier this week. Taken together, this does mean that YWS is now a business (though not officially). The importance of YWS having a bank account cannot be understated. It means that my personal assets will no longer commingle with YWS' assets, which in turn means I can keep better track of the money YWS earns. This is also an important first step toward making YWS a legitimate company; I will only consider YWS a true success when it has offices in the Washington area and I can have an intern who brings me coffee at 9:30 am every weekday.
