If you have any idea what I'm talking about, than add on!

You spend more time in the band room than you do at home.
You've named your instrument.
When traveling, you buy two plane tickets: 1 for you, 1 for your instru
You have your band director's # on speed dial
You've wanted to be in Marching Band since you were 5
You play more than 3 instruments
you walk in step with the people in front of you
You know how to tune an oboe
You sleep with a metronome under your pillow
You get super excited when you get new music
You're no longer disgusted when you see brasses emptying spit valves
Instead of lipstick or makeup in your purse, you have reeds, cork grease, or valve oil.
You still have all the music you played from the past 2 years.
You've memorized all your music
You finger your music on your pencil
you accidentilly write 'band' instead of 'and'
You can have an entire conversation w/ your friends about reed quality...
...and they feel your pain.
you list your band director as an emergency contact.*
...all your idols are dead. And have been for several centuries.*
...You couldn't say that because you worship your band director/drum
your read budget is higher than your food budget.*
...you noticed I spelled "reed" wrong & it annoyed you.*
you skipped school to get your new instrument.*
...the entire day.*
...with your parent's permission.*
...but came back for band.
On a scale of 1 to Random, I'm pretty ADHD.

you skip lunch or get passes from the director to go to the band room during your study hall

you alphebetize your music folder

you make up words to go with the tune of your music

having people dress and undress you isn't even remotely sexually stimulating.
I just lost the game.

hahaha *ah-hem* (haha)

... when you don't think in phrases, but rather are subdividing them.

... if you get annoyed when school bells or car horns are out of tune

... when you hear different instruments in different places in your brain.

... you eat lunch in the bandroom
* and the conductor doesn't mind
* and all your friends join you

hahaha,

umm...

you treat your instrument as if it's your own baby child
... and you sing it to sleep every night
... and very slowly and VERY carefully put it away in it's pristine, perfectly conditioned case
You'll defend any instrument if someone says they think it's stupid
It is better to travel well than to arrive.

Hehe!

You tap your foot all the time, keeping time to nothing.

You know the names of all your friends' instruments as well as your own.

Your imaginary friend plays the bass clarinet.

You had plans with your friends to go into business together and invent "reed spray" (a miraculous, if fictional, product that can be sprayed on new reeds to make them taste nice)
Oh, you're angry! Click your pen.

if someone starts clapping you nearly go to attention, even if you're far from the bandroom.
everyone in band with you yells at whoever clapped.
you look forward to band camp from the day you get back

you know what all the paradiddles are

begin to day dream about being in the band

spend more time with your instrument than anyone or anything else
Our happiness here is all vain glory,
This false world is but transitory,
The flesh is weak, the Fiend is slee
Timor mortis conturbat me.

Haha!

...If you find singers are out of tune.
...If you pick up your instrument from the shop and hug it the entire ride home.
