Leave Them
Leave the messages
on that recording loom.
Let your lover’s yearning words
collect dust in the neglect.
Abandon them,
and stay in your daydream place.
Leave the poor black child
in his crumbling school.
Allow snowflakes of poison
to rest on his haven of slumber.
Degrade him,
and feed your young the elite.
Leave the hawks of war
in their oval room.
Let their meek perception of time
dominate the grandness of infinity.
Obey them,
and let change die with reason.
Leave the poor drunkard
on his wooden stool.
Keep all of his bad ideas
in that toxic place called his mind.
Retard him,
and believe in your blinded book.
Leave the true genius
in his padded tomb
Plant the seed of submission
in his innovative thoughts.
Just dull him
and nourish him through the shield.
Leave the life morals
to be always cruel.
Let God and his promises
remain nothing but myth.
Decompose them
and live life in its corrupt glory.
