Uh, I hate making introductions. I'm on a few writing boards and I realized a few months ago that making intro's were torture.

Well, my species is on the endangered list. I love to critique things, and I love to write. I'm a fantasist. And I love grammar and foreign languages, and I play the guitar and the cello.

Suzanne: I don't actually speak a foreign language yet. The closest I've come to speaking a foreign language is learning a few words and phrases in Anglo-Saxon after reading Beowulf. I have always wanted to learn German, Arabic, Gaelic, and Norwegian. Because I've my school's language programme, I have to wait until next year to be able to take German. I do love listening to other languages, and I like translating things from English into other languages.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to like it here. It's much bigger than the other forums I've been on, and I came on the recommendation of my older sister.

I think you'll take a liking to the language user group, then. ^^ There currently isn't a German class set up (I don't think?) but I was going to start a French one, it just hasn't happened! My German is rather limited, but within six months to a year, I should have a larger range of speaking. So perhaps we'll be able to converse in a while!

I love learning different languages as well. At the moment I know two languages. English and Urdu. I can usually understand simple French and I'm learning Spanish.

Yes I'm sure you'll have great time here. By the way; your sister who told you about this site, is she a member? If yes what's her username? Just curious.
