Wow, I've been here for a whole year and I never noticed this forum before. Epic fail!
Anyway, about me... I s'pose. First on the list? The basics! My name is hidden below: [spoiler]You really thought I would tell you?[/spoiler]
I am 15 and I've lived as long as I can remember in Phoenix, Arizona. I love it here but I plan on leaving the country as soon as I can, probably to either Scotland or Australia, but either way somewhere rural. I'm currently a sophomore at a high school where I'm probably going to commit mass murder because most of the people annoy me to no end and there's way too many of them. I plan on attending Arizona State University and studying for a degree in Creative Writing which I hope to later use for teaching. And I might become a maths teacher, since English is hard to teach. Yes, I'm lame. Er... I have one older brother who's 18, soon to be 19. My parents are divorced and I live with my dad half the time and my mum the rest of the time (1 week intervals). I have several pets: 2 dogs, Maggie (an 8- or 9-year-old beagle) and Sparky (a 10-month-old Dalmation/Aussie Shepherd), an orange cat named Hamish (hay-mish), a turtle named Crush, a hamster named Speedy, several fish (Tweedledee, Tweedledum, Spot, Finny, Shadow, and a nameless guppy), and a budding flower plant (which is ironic because I'm allergic to flowers).
As for interests and such... I am obsessed with pirates and the sea (I am a veritable cornocopia of useless information about pirates), I enjoy reading, colouring, gardening, construction work, number crunching, music, talking with inanimate objects, pirates, waving at passing cars with my friends, and other quirky things. I've been writing for as long as I can remember, but I only started doing it seriously when I was 11. I am easily irritated by the following things: bad or lazy spelling, bad or lazy grammar, people who text message in class, people who spell a lot as one word, most of the people in my 6th period Spanish class, and people who annoy me in general. My hero is Craig Ferguson (who I'm going to see live this Saturday!), the smartest and most underrated man alive. My favourite bands are the Sex Pistols, The Ramones, Dead Kennedys, The Clash, The Buzzcocks, Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Stray Cats, other 70's and 80's bands, The View, The Fratellis, and plus my secret penchant for certain modern-day bands.
Quirks! I sense you all are waiting for quirks. I am extremely OCD about spelling, so spell right or die! Not really. I have been known to have in-depth discussions about Shakespeare with my peanut butter. I break out in random dance moves a lot. I like to confuse people. I'm agoraphobic (look it up!) so I spend a lot of time hating my school because it has over 2,000 people in it. I'm very selective about my close friends because I don't like shallow people. For reading this whole thing, you get a cookie. I really want to own a cow and name it Giggles. I know why just about as much as you do. And I don't want to frighten you, but I'm pretty much awesome.
*gasp* Man, that was a lot of typing I could've spent on my NaNo. Yay procrastination!
