What kind of stuff to you like to read/write? What got you interested in writing? <questions people would have asked if they beat me to it =P

Writing is my.. only hope for any sort of influencial expression. I'm a good speaker but verbal arguments are too messy for my taste. Enough with the narcissism.
I like Fiction and Philosophy, existentialism and metaphysics primarily.
Writers inspired me, Bertrand Russell? (although not much of an English writer)
Orson Scott Card, Eoin Colfer... some other mainstream writers. I'm more interested in factual reading, science since it has more utilities.
