My animated avatar isn't working.

It's only 560 kb.

It's not obscene.

I've uploaded it from both my computer and from a URL and didn't work either time.

I've had animated- moving- avatars before and they worked fine.

So I wonder why it's not displaying properly?

Hmm... I got to place the limits on avatars again. Having a 560 kb avatar is way too big.

Anyways, did you make it yourself? If so, check to make sure it's in RGB format, or another web compliant format. But, right now, there's no reason for it not to work site wise. Just something wrong with the image. But on that note... time to change the avatar size limits.

New size restriction? Now I'll never get to use my "chick mowing down hordes of zomies" avatar. Guess my problem is solved now- more or less.

Though I must admit that anything with zombies is cool.

Animated avatars are usually more a hassle than they are worth, plus they can be really distracting at times. Depending on what kind they are, I occasionally feel like I want to have a seizure .

*is guilty of Animated Avatar* But it depends on how many layers the GIF has. I man mine has like six or so. Large animations take up a lot of space and really aren't good for avatars. Mine is more of a slide show I think.
