The struggle continued viciously, she could feel her hair whip past her eyes, stinging them and bringing up tears. Raw and mottled her hands battled on. Stretching further each time she leapt for her remaining line, keeping a tight hold on her cargo. It flew past her outstretched fingertips, grazing the skin from them and she bit her lip in pain and anger.

She had agreed to a small job, not this… This insanity!

Fixing a determined scowl upon her face she looked up once more. It spun wildly, unchecked, seeming to mock her all the more from its lofty heights. Slowly she flexed her remaining hand and shifted her load slightly. This time she was going to catch it, no matter the consequences.

A feral growl began in her throat as she felt her load begin to fall, her hands already set to catch the line, and she was unprepared for the drop. Flinging her hands to her hip in frustration she grabbed the load and threw it to the ground. Panting and rapidly turning red, she stared blindly at the ground, eyes darting between her fallen load and the rapidly swinging line.

She surpassed boiling point and screamed straight into blind rage. Walking defiantly, furiously up to the line she grabbed it in her fist, jerking it to a halt. Muttering violently she reached for the load and began pinning the clothes on, never letting go of the line.

Never again would she put the clothes on the line in such weather. That was a promise.
I like you as an enemy, but I love you as a friend.

You've got a really cute little story here dear but I think you could do more with the metaphor. Try not to repeat load and line and such so often and maybe go further and depict the washing line as a monster? You could describe the load more as a weapon or something and I think that would add extra interest to this piece.

Other than that though you generally have some nice, if simple imagery and I'm loving the ending. Make it more of a twist and people will love it even more. Also, here's a few specific comments -

She had agreed to a small job, not this… This insanity! ['This' should have a small t seenas it's after an ellipse.]

She surpassed boiling point and screamed straight into blind rage. [This line is a touch awkward (very poor pun certainly not intended.). Perhaps change it to something like 'She dodged boiling point and screamed herself directly into a blind rage.' Might make it a little smoother.]

Other than that, you have a nice little piece here. Not your best work but it's fun and quite amusing.
