HELLO! I wanted to make that really big but for some reason it's not working.
Anyway, my name is Sarah and I'm currently a freshman at a performing arts school and my arts area is, of course, creative writing. I found this site through one of my friends, who is already a member but I don't know her username.
I have loved writing since I was about 9, and I started out in Harry Potter fanfiction and eventually moved to fictionpress.com, although my stories never got much attention. I wrote that for a few years before I just lost interest, mostly due to depression and a general lack of motivation in my life, but roughly a year ago I picked it back up. My longest story to date was about 200 pages in Microsoft word, but it was absolutely crappy and quality > quantity but it's still something I'm kind of proud of, although it did get deleted =/
I actually really love music and would love to write lyrics for a band, but I have no musical talent in singing nor instruments and I wouldn't want to write lyrics for something I'm not really part of and/or for pop. Mostly I'm thinking I will be a novelist, but I also have great interest in being a veterinarian...which has nothing to do with writing. But I actually enjoy science and math a lot as well. My first choice would be something like a forensic investigator, but I don't think I could handle murdered people when roadkill makes me squeamish.
Yeah, this is way longer than I meant it to be! And maybe I should actually move this to About the Author...I don't know, they seem kind of melted together to me. Sorry if this is in the wrong spot!
