Idea?

I've been sitting on this idea for a screenplay/ most likely a book because of length. A fine mixture of the movies Dawn of the Dead and Mallrats. Both involve something near and dear to my heart. The mall.(Believe me, there's not that much to do in Kansas) I love the mall, and I really love those two movies. I think a hybrid would be good. I want you guys to tell me if you would read a story like that or not. And if so any suggestions? Thanks everybody.

I would read it if you could find a nice balance of drama and comedy. And a little violence.

And what do you mean there's not much to do in Kansas? We do plenty.
