He glides through the water with all the elegance of a swan in flight.
The water ripples along behind his peculiar webbed feet.
People make fun of the way he looks.
I think he looks beautiful.
They call him a scrap animal and that he is made out of the scraps of other animals.
A Duck's bill, a water bird's feet.
A beaver tail, a dog's body.
His species lay eggs, like the birds do.
But he is not a bird.
He is a marsupial, like a possum.
He is a remarkable creature,
but not everybody notices.
His name cannot be said by the dizty celebrities.
I do not like Jessica Simpson.
She doesn't really use pro-activ.
But that does not bother the Platypus.
Because he isn't a teenager with pimples.
He is an animal that I love to pieces!
So I guess that means that I only like pieces of animals.
I only like the duck's beak and feet.
I only like the beaver's tail, his teeth are funny though.
I only like the dog's body, without the fleas of course.
But I love every bit of the Platymapus.
I mean platypus.
I spelt it right.......
I just got side tracked for that moment.
Thinking about tuna.
I do not like the Tuna Fish.
They have staring eyes.
And they freak me out.
But I like the platypus.
And no fish can change that!
So don't even try.
Don't ask me why I wrote this.
Because i really don't know.
I'm just drinking pepsi and,
That does funny things to your head.
But the main point of this collection of words,
Too sinful to be called a poem.
Too senseless to be called a story.
The point of it all is to let you know,
I want a pet platypus.
And when I get one,
Once you buy me one,
I will call him Woofels.
Or Woofles.
I'm not sure how to spell it.
But oh well.
You get the idea.
Now go buy me a platypus!
