Greetings to all at Young Writers Society and thank you for letting me
into your family.

My name is James and I am a 24 year old college student at Eastern
Michigan University and soldier in the Michigan Army National Guard.
I am a political science major; my politics are of the Teddy Roosevelt
Republican variety and I am a Christian.

My favorite types of writing are of historical fiction (I am a big fan
of Richard Sharpe and Horatio Hornblower) and science fiction (Star
Wars, Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica).

For the most part, I have done primarily Star Wars. Recently I have
begun doing fantasy set in the Age of Sail rather than typical
medieval settings.

I look forward to reading the works posted here as well as sharing
some of my own work with YWS.

Go Star Wars! 0.o Well, now that that is out of my system: Welcome to the YMS! I really can't wait to read some of your work. Historical fiction and Science fiction are some of my favorite types to read.

See ya around!

Help me get that second star! If you need a review, just send me a PM. (Keep it PG, please. Except for violence... I can handle that. ^^ )

I think I'll look for some of your work. I'm not a big SciFi writer myself (my ideas are so cliche I might as well name them after the stories they copy) but I LOVE reading it!
