Hello everyone! Today is my first day here and I really am just using trial and error to figure things out. But I might need some help down the line.

Writing has been a passion of mine for years and I am really looking forward to some constructive input.

Though originally I started writing poems, I also write stories that I never seem to finish. I don't have any trouble coming up with a plot, characters or the beginning. It's just I always think of new ideas before I can complete the old ones!

I think trial and error is the best way to learn, even if it means some rather embarrassing errors sometimes.

That being said, feel free to drop me a line if you need help/want critique/are wasting time and feel like chatting.

I don't think finishing is the hardest part :O I think the middle is the hardest =X

Wut up Kirstybee, welcome to YWS. I'm pretty new myself but if you ever need a critique just PM me. I got the same overly active inspiration thing going on, but insane amounts of inspiration are better than none.

I've learned that having people critique the first part, or first chapter of your story, is perhaps the best motivation for continuing.

I am myself writing a story at the moment that I would have abandoned five chapters ago if not for the greatly encouraging crits available on this site from all the nice (and sometimes not-so-nice, yet helpful) members.

Just thinking.... Why do everyone keep on saying they like writing. I mean its obvious ya know. Obvious that who ever joins the young writers society likes writing.
