Hey people.

I'm new to these forums (always find it weird when people write that at the start of their posts... of course I'm new if I'm writing a topic in the welcome forum!) Anywhoo, my name is Norman or Norm, Norrie, personally you can call me whatever you like. I'm 16 and enjoy inventing characters and giving them problems and stuff like that to overcome. I'm Scottish. As of yet, I've wrote nothing. The reason I joined the forum is for a number of reasons:-

to take in the writing of others, to take notes on how to write so that if I ever get around to writing something... it'll be good.

to mingle with people

to ease the boredom of the summer holidays when your doing nothing!

Take it easy folks!

Welcome Norm!

The wide world of YWS is there to explore for you...and those characters too.

If you have a problem, feel free to pm me. But a handy piece of advice would be to visit the FAQ.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Jesseble :D

I always found that repetitive myself, until I figured that a user could be posting a re-introduction after a very long absence. :p

Well I figured that since I commented on your work, I might as well greet you as well. Welcome to YWS, Norman.

I'm Eric (That was so hard to figure out.). I haven't been on here in a while, a very long while, but I do remember how awesome this site is.

Hope you enjoy yourself.

Ahoy Norm! Welcome aboard YWS!

I'm Razorblade, shorten or alter as you please. ;)

For help around the site, press one. For a fiction critique, press two. For a nice, sane discussion over a hot cup of tea on a lovely spring day, hang up and try again.

I jest, I jest. ;)

The idea that a poem was a made thing stayed with me, and I decided then that I wanted to be an artist, not just a diarist. So I put myself through a kind of apprenticeship in writing poetry, and I understood even then that my practice as a poet was deeply related to my reading.
