Sometimes it's kinda fun to look at how sites look in the past. Here's a link to how YWS looked (without the graphics) In February 2005:

Carsandguitars77, now Chevy, was the member of the month, hekategirl was winning the points race, and a poll for which all options were eventually considered, save for the recommending a friend (all the other ones didn't work out; even the YWS store hasn't really worked out). Pat Buchanan's Dream House is actually under work, thanks to Jimmy Carter and the Habitat For Humanity!

Aw, how cute. Obviously I wasn't around this site at that time, but even though it's rather empty, it seems that it was well organized for what you had. :P Looks much purtier today.

Hee hee, that's funny. We've come a long way since then. Well, you have. It's rather before my time!
There's always been a lot of tension between Lois and me, and it's not so much that I want to kill her, it's just, I want her to not be alive anymore.

OMG I remember it like that. I really liked the design. Splash! never got very far off the ground did it?

Wow, nostalgia.

I keep thinking about making the Chimped Out skin the default one. Only reason why I don't is because I imagine newcomers would be very confused why there are bananas everywhere on a writing site, lol.

Ohmygosh, that's CRAZY!!!! It's so...so...different!

I love YWS today, and yesterday. Of course, I was here in April '06, and I remember how incredibly slooooow it was and how much time it took to load each page. TSR-OMG, all that stuff!
