I'm Shasta

Hi everyone!
I'm someone who just loves to write. I'm working on several stories right now, though my focus is more on one of them. I enjoy basically any and all creative writing and am a sort of poet at heart. I write poems whenever I have a few spare seconds, and some are surprised by what I end up with. I hope to share multiple poems with all the great people here!

Welcome Shasta, I'm sure you'll find plenty of people here interested in poetry, but beware of the Incan Shark, he eats poetry and poets whole.

As for what poems I write, mine mostly have to do with nature, emotions, etc. But, a lot of poems are like that, aren't they?
I read a lot of different things, but, well fiction mostly! Oh, and I have read several of the Chronicles of Narnia (but not all).

Oh, dear. For a moment there, I thought I was losing my mind! I was like "...? when did I reply to this?" I guess that's what I get for looking at avatars instead of reading usernames. (I used that faerie one for awhile here.)

I don't know if I can say I read a particulat type of fiction more than others, I guess realistic fiction and fantasy are the genres a read most often, but that's pretty basic.
The main story I'm working on (I'm hesitent to say this), um, is actually about this white mouse and her adventures. I know it sounds kind of strange, but people seem to like it all right. Maybe I'll post the prologue sometime...
