@fatherfig @Spearmint - one of my favorite poems is actually very close to what you described in your last post!! The Lesson of a Moth by Don Marquis - I memorized this one in High School. <3 (there are few different versions, but the one I like has rhyme in it!)

Poems about the inevitability of Poetry. Poems about Poets and Not-Poets and why both are me. Poems about rule-breaking, and pencil drawings, and writing over your tentative dreams with INK! All of the above.

And for the record, yes this is all strictly against the rules of NaPo, but it is also strongly encouraged to do that.

Poetry on innovation vs ethics, scientific advancement, how industry can breed destruction perhaps? Or the delicacy and precision of certain tools, how simple things become once we break them down?
