Ooo there are so many reasons! But one reason is that YWS is not just a writing site, but also a community. You don't just publish your works: you talk with others about them and get reviews and stuff, which you rarely get on other sites. You engage with others. You laugh and cry and rage and YWS is there for you while you do it. I have a lot of other reasons, but I'll leave it at this for now. Might come back to list more!
