Spooktober 2025 Schedule
All month long
Inktober - Feeling artsy? Inktober is a challenge to draw every day in October! There are prompts for inspiration, and here on YWS we have a club where you can share your creations and cheer other YWSers on
Specific dates
October 1st to October 15th - Gen Lit is calling for submissions to the spooky six-word story contest! It can be as chill and low-key as you want, or you can wrack your brain for something totally unexpected and chilling... ;D
October 4th to October 27th - Submissions are open for the Gothic Retelling Contest! Put a haunted spin on a familiar tale :>
October 17th to 19th - Roleplay Crew brings you a special Roleplay Weekend (perhaps called a... very spooky roleplay creep-end? Credit to Leya!) Some featured events will be a character-building contest, a hollow or tagbook, and a write-in! :]
October 25th to 31st - Poetry Crew is here again with the much-beloved Poetry Week! There will be daily prompts and fun events like hashtags and a costume party >:3
