Camp NovMo: Cover Contest

Hello Camp NovMo writers!

Just like last year we have another fantastic announcement for a Cover Contest for this Camp NovMo in July 2025. So, are you ready to show off your work with an amazing and appealing cover?

If you love drawing, putting together collages, painting, digital art or creating something with Canva, you're in the right place. Everything can be a cover art, right?

To participate:
1. Your cover must include the title of your novel
2. Your cover must have your username (not your real name!).

Rules:
1. You are allowed to submit up to 3 covers.
2. All the rules of Internet Safety need to be kept in mind.
3. Keep it family friendly ^^

Use this thread to submit a link or photo to your cover art!

Prizes:
1st place: 250 points
2nd place: 150 points
3rd place: 100 points

Bonus for All Participants:
Everyone who participates will get a shiny “Creative NovMo-er” badge!


The judges will be the lovely Gen Lit. Crew ^^
We will judge based on originality, relevance to your novel and creativity!

Spot! (I may have already made 2 covers but I am waiting)

I wanted to include some key elements of Everbound. Things like tarot cards and the journal. While also feeding into the idea that it is a romance revolving around soulmates & soulmate strings. Yet, at the same time, I wanted to maintain a foreboding, paranormal feeling that captures a sense of mystery. On top of that, Lilies of the Valley is a key bit of symbolism that drives the religious motifs in the book. Lastly, the model I used is a semi-reference to the Fool tarot card.

These are my covers! The third one is a more simplified version of the first. I really wanted the grey theme since there is a heavy love on film from both of the characters, but the blue is a nice color too since it can resemble the night sky (the female main character has a passion for stargazing, and it becomes a very special moment for the two characters).

I wasn't going to submit anything for this but I ended up making this; I acknowledge it is not the most inspired by any means but I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out. I modeled it after Dramatist Play Service script covers.

Hey everyone! These are two different covers I’ve designed so far for my YA spy thriller Operation Firewall. I tried to include key elements from the story in each one. I also wrote a tagline.

-In the first cover, you’ll see Nova in action, hacking with her laptop (a big part of who she is)

-The second includes the hidden keypad and secret door, which play an important role in the mystery.
