SPOILERS AHEAD <3

lysandra....i'm crying. HER STORY. aghejdesvmhr she didn't DESERVE this she was a child...but she has such a heart.
it's so poetic. to save someone from this life, you must ruin them. we are only let go when we are unwanted, and sometimes you must make yourself that way. evangeline's story tugged at my heartstrings.

Lysandra’s arc is one of the most gut-wrenching and triumphant things in Queen of Shadows. She starts out as this beautiful, elegant courtesan with razor-sharp wit, and then Sarah J. Maas just peels her open and shows us the broken, brutalized girl underneath who chose survival over everything—and still somehow kept her heart.
