The heroes of the land, the King's Cool Folk (They changed the name to that), have been replaced with arrogant, careless, unempathetic fools . Guardians have been replaced with god-complexes and safety has been traded for greed. So, the people turn to the only ones who can beat the heroes:

The Villains.

Placed in Ill-Mannered Seniors Manor for rehabilitation, this group of six tired, grumpy, and retired villains will have to face the ungrateful and spoilt heroes and prove that it's never too late for a fresh start.

After all, you know what they say, you either die a villain, or live long enough to see yourself become the hero.

Ill-Mannered Seniors Manor

The manor is the most impressive building in Begone Bog. It stands proudly and yet secretly atop Mount Despair, looking out across the village below. Its dark yet magnificent spires elegantly reach for the sky, the tips surrounded by mist while the many rooms and halls sprawl vast across the top of the mountain to accompany its many occupants. Inside is equal in splendor to the outside as well with its gorgeous dark wood, richly painted walls, glass chandeliers, and decorative rugs, giving the entire place a wealthy yet homely feel with plenty of shadows to go around. Potted begonias dot the halls and balconies, matching the decor with their dark glossy leaves while simultaneously providing a much needed, brightly colored contrast along with the gold gilded picture frames that adorn the walls.

Begone Bog

Begone Bog is a secluded little village nestled in a valley deep within the Stolowe mountains where the barren peaks stretch upwards towards the sky despite the lush land in which they cradle. It is as the name suggests a little bit of a bog, especially on the outskirts, the beautiful River Isolde cutting through the village's very center as nature tries to reclaim the edges. The houses are of an older style and have been around for many generations with typically a bit of ivy crawling on them as they line the cobbled streets. To the south of the village is a forest of towering pines and ancient oaks, thick beds of ferns, begonias, and other foliage covering the forest floor and filling the spaces between the trunks. Meanwhile, to the north, the tall mountain affectionately named Mt. Despair, overlooks the valley, providing a breathtaking view to its occupants in the hidden manor at the top. The village runs mainly off of the small farms around the area the locals operate and the animals of the forest and therefore is entirely self sufficient on food. It has a relatively small population, one that's spread out even within this rather small village.

History of Begone Bog

Begone Bog is a village with a surprisingly long history. Built all the way back during the Age of the Rampaging Dung Beetles it has truly survived the test of time. It quickly became a safe haven for all those who wanted to isolated from worldly problems and politics, making it a perfect place to house villains who wanted to change. None of the villagers would recognize the face of evil, and no hero ever thought to travel here. The villains will sometimes work in the village as a means of atonement, the Senior Living quarters more to keep up appearances rather than the best description of those who lived there.
