I joined YWS a couple days ago and just found this thread, so I thought I'd add something. My name is branchingout, I'm 19, and I just started attempting some creative writing this week. Well, I actually used to love writing in elementary and middle school (I would even post subpar stories on Google+, still cringe when I remember that), but due to the usual summer boredom, I suddenly got a random craving to try again! I've been really enjoying my time on here so far. Everyone's so nice and helpful!
I suppose that's about it. I can't wait to write, read, and review some more. Let's see how long I last in The Great Tortoise Race (I bet about a week).
