in a similar vein as age gap, i reminisce about a dead person, this time my great aunt who died 2023(?) of cancer (hence the name 'pink ribbon'.) i describe the feeling of seeing things that remind me of her everywhere on the way to vermont for her funeral.

there are 2 ways to read this:
