Everything's good on my end as well! Got one of my character's profiles done and I'm about to work on the other. I should be able to get a post up within the next day or two! Here's the profile for my royal guard, Lilian: Spoiler
Name: Lilian Wells
Age: 20
Physical characteristics: Straight, shoulder-length black hair. Piercing brown eyes. Her skin is dotted with freckles, and she has a prominent scar along her throat.
Background/status/role in the kingdom: Lilian wasn’t born into wealth, but her skills as a spy and swordsman earned her a spot as one of the monarchy’s royal guards. She’s fairly high ranked for her age but tends to stay more behind the scenes.
How are they affiliated with the royal family?: She’s one of their royal guards, and a reluctant friend/ally of Prince Julian.
What are they wearing to the ball?: Basically this, but with a longer skirt. Lilian is also wearing a mask made of paper butterflies and ribbon.
What are their aspirations for the evening?: Prince Julian has roped Lilian into going to the ball in disguise. She’s supposed to try and set herself up with the Prince Theodore and/or steer him clear of anyone horrible, but Lilian’s more keen on just having some good food and guarding from a distance.
Nice first post @Corvid ! I like how your character was introduced as explicitly needing a ride from someone else, which leaves someone like me, who can never remember anything I read in a profile because the format isn't brain-grabbing enough, to wonder why and what contacts your character has that could get her a ride with someone of status like that. Certainly makes it easier to remember who's who lol
I'm currently working on a sort of 'character profile' for the kingdom my royals are from so other characters can kinda have a general idea of what their kingdom is like, and to kinda keep this whole rp alive in my head while I'm working on that.
