I particularly liked the line "the whole-cloth/that is Monday" and the ending was perfect. I also think the structure was well done; it put me off a bit in the first verse, but then I got used to it and it really adds to the light melancholy of the tone.

I have to say, the second stanza is probably one of the most graceful, evocative descriptions of city life that I've read yet--and not just on this site. My only misgiving is about how you've italicized the last line; does it really need the added emphasis? I think it stands strongly enough in its own right, without having to resort to italics.

That was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I'm not sure why, but it reminds me of a book I recently read by my favourite author, Chris Wooding, called Storm Thief. But that's a compliment, because I loved that book.

Ive nothing to add to this - it was a beatutiful poem and very meaningful - useless critique but Ive nothing to correct.
