Camp NaNo '22: Colonia Heights

I've been working on this draft since last July and I would REALLY like to cut some progress out of it with Camp NaNo. Am I biting off more than I can chew since I have school? Maybe. But I did NaNo while in school so let's go. The Goal 25,000 words in the new draft. I wanted to go for 30k and really flex my writing muscles since I've been slacking, but I've been pretty extensively marking up the second draft as a part of revisions, and since that's going to take time, I decided to take it a little easier. but I'm really, really pleased with how this draft is turning out. I'm overhauling A LOT more than I expected, and I'm testing the strengths and weaknesses and finding the weaker joints as I go, but this is the first time I've really felt like I'm making big progress in revisions and I'm very happy, so I'm going to try to take this energy into April.
