What's the strangest thing you've ever been caught googling for research's sake while writing a novel?

Mine is a tie between herbal pastes that fight infection or different ways to fracture someone's arm.

Mine was probably how far a human can fall and still survive. (The longest was 20,000 feet)... Though I always fell weird looking on baby name sites for character names XD

My mom always seems to walk in my room when I'm searching the weird stuff XD I search on baby naming sites for character names, I look up different ways to do certain drugs and the long and short term affects of them, various torture methods, ways to murder people and how certain agencies go about gathering evidence, and I have researched extensively on insanity, especially the criminally insane. (sociopaths, narcissists, etc.)

I write murder mysteries, that's all it is I promise... XD

It's always awkward when someone sees you researching how to hack computers.

"I swear I'm not going to do it! A made up character in my head is!"
I bought a cactus. A week later it died. I got depressed because I thought Damn, I am less nurturing than a desert.

I never ended up finishing the story, but my mom once walked over to my computer as I was looking up if pulling out someone's fingernails or eyes was more painful

Today or all time? Because I've written some really weird stuff.
Today: How fast would you die from electrocution? And what device would really need to be dropped into a bath tub to cause it?
Overall: A lot of demonic possessions and stuff I saw on supernatural or X files.

For the first draft of my story I've had to search things ranging from how to fight a wolf and kill a chicken quickly to how burnt humans smell like and how cold does it have to be to freeze someone solid.
Death isn't cruel- merely terribly, terribly good at his job.

Whether or not a person with albinism could dye their hair... I don't think it was even going to be part of my story, I was just curious.

Yup, baby names.
Dumbledore: "Now, it's great that you've been saving the school and all Harry, but unfortunately your grades have been a tad low, and, well... perhaps Gandalf could explain it better... hit it, Gandalf!

Gandalf: "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!"

Uhh...what is the most painful torture method in history?

This was totally for a story and not an assignment I got regarding the Fields of Punishment.
