Roddie nodded, muttered something about "finding clothes without any capes," and agreed to meet up in ten minutes. Jeff smiled, feeling triumphant, checking out the ever-stoic Actor beside him, and SubZero looking up at the apartment building. People were slowly trickling back inside.

Well, this seemed like it was going to all workout. Besides, Jeff had been meaning to go there sometime - he didn't live too far away, but he hadn't had much time these last few months to really check out many places. Some days it felt like he had only been in the city for a week, and not half a year.

A realization suddenly struck Wren.

"If he's going without his suit, shouldn't we go without our suits?" she asked. It wasn't like she was trying to find out the other two's secret identities, but did they really have a choice? They would draw attention to themselves if they wore their suits.

...But they were also going with a (soon to be arrested?) villain, so wouldn't it be risky if he knew what they looked like in civilian clothes?

(Not that it was risky for Wren - she would show up as Adrian Black, not herself.)

You know that place between sleep and awake, that place where you still remember dreaming? That’s where I’ll always love you. That’s where I’ll be waiting.
