Let Them Eat Cake! YWS Birthday Badge Birthday week has officially begun! For the next week, you can look for special events to celebrate YWS's 14th Birthday. In honor of YWS's Cake Day, the moderators have been busy cooking up some cake in the YWS Kitchens. And the good news is, we want to share! If you'd like the YWS Cake Badge, it can be yours! Just post in the thread below, your birthday wishes to YWS (feel free to leave a note about what you like about YWS, or any fond memories of the site) and then we'll make sure to send the Cake Badge your way at the end of the week! Oh and cake is always better with friends, so if you'd like to share the Cake Badge with some of your friends, all you have to do is tag them in this post with the "@" sign. (Limit to 5 tags please) Our ovens can only bake so much cake though, so one Badge per user, but if you're tagged, you can feel free to wish YWS a Happy Birthday and tag some people to share the cake with too! You have until the end of Birthday Week (November 14) to get your birthday greetings in. **Badge is called YWS Birthday 2018 and all cake has been dispersed up to LittleLee's post.

If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be on my laptop or phone as often, and if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have finished my novel and written so many other stories (gosh, I even tried my hand at poetry!) but happy birthday to ya anyhow! I lub ya. <3

I always say I owe a lot to YWS, for helping a naive and timid 16 year old explore her thoughts in English and in fact reason out better. But even better is that fact that I've met some wonderful, intelligent and smart people through this and I am glad to have gotten to know all of you, and I'm excited that we get to keep sharing our lives!

This is my 10th year on YWS, and I love going back to cringe-wortyhy old posts to see how my paths have led me to here and now. Forever grateful, xoxo
