The Drifters

Magic instinctively opened their mouth to say a spell to clean up the mess, only to falter when they realized they wouldn't be able to use it. Trying to ignore the empty feeling in their gut, they found the nearest roll of paper towels and started to clean up the mess.

"It's alright," Rekune reassured Landon.

"Yeah, it isn't a problem," Kynan said, raising his paws to avoid getting them soaked by the growing puddle. Of course, that was his mug, but he felt like it'd be a little rude to point it out. Or rude for him to make any sort of fuss over his mug in general.

"Sorry, sorry.." he continued to mumbled softly, still flitting around a bit. Finally, he crouched down and held out his hand for the paper towels. "Here, let me- I'm the one who spilled it, after all."

"It's okay," they said, shaking their head. They had to do this - it made them feel useful, even if it was just by doing something as cleaning up a mess they hadn't caused. They couldn't let Landon or the others know just how flustered they were about their current state, and they hoped that it just seemed like they wanted to help.

"Oh, well, alright then-" Landon blinked, not expecting Magic to refuse his help.

After a moment, he found something small to do by picking up the mug. He stood back up and glanced around.

"Um... Whoever's hot chocolate this was- sorry. I can go get you more."

Kynan shook his head. "Oh, no," the hound said, "I'm not really thirsty, anyways. But you could wash it off, if you'd like? I'd help with that, but" - he gestured to Tristan, who flashed an awkward smile.
