Can't separate anything

I can't separate stanzas or anything on yws. I had to use space but that doesn't work either. Is this just me or is there something I should know about?

Or you could use a picture instead.

Just type the poem in Microsoft Word or some notetaking app on your phone, then screenshot it. Now you have a poem with stanzas in it. It's a common technique used by poets here. One advantage here is you can use several other fonts on it other than Verdana (the default site font).

Shift+enter creates a line break in the code.

Or you can use the HTML text editor in the publishing center. Simply put <br> at the end of every line, and on every line you want to leave blank.

This creates a stanza break without causing you to go to unnecessary trouble, and makes it look clean while allowing reviewers to copy and paste lines they want to comment on.
