Our winners are in! Due to digital interference in the park that distorted the final 12 hours of the race track, we--the judges--have deliberated over the footage and know good and well that each and every tortoise tasted the greens of victory at the glorious conclusion! If you ever ask any of us--participants or spectators, judges or hares--we will all say that July of 2017 had but 30 days! Your victors are, YWSers:
@Nikayla, who did not wobble one bit, no way no how no sir. I believe her tortoise was named Genevieve.
@BlueAfrica, whose tortoise braved both the wooded path and the green room enough to find a unicorn! We will name her tortoise Hammersparkles for added effect.
@Mage, whose tortoise feasted on enough leaves to cure the pirate lands of GI troubles for decades to come! We will name her tortoise Doctor Goodbody.
@BiscuitsLeGuin, who provided a tortoise bold and strong that, at one point, lifted up another tortoise to move them out of the way. This tortoise shall be known as Hercules Mulligan for throwback's sake.
Finally, @TheSilverFox rose to the spotlight with a tortoise who wished to be a shining starlet in her prime, and thus her name shall be Primadonna proud and prim!
