I'm writing a fanasty story about people who can shapeshift into dogs. It's going to be a YA book.
So, my major plot point is that there is this "breeding program." ( got the idea from puppy mills) Where women, who are of my shapeshifting race, are kidnaped and given invetro fertilization througe a surgical procedure. They then raise their " childrean" for a few years until they are taken away when they begin to shift for such jobs as drug/bomb sniffing/labatory testing/service/therpy dogs.
I need help with so many aspects of this as far as how my " goverment funded business," works. What is REALLY going on and how two teenagers can stop it, etc.
I need help with develuping this aspect of my story.
