Hello real people that I don't know. It takes a lot of push for me to join this but I am here. I enjoy writing, but only for myself and only if I know it will never ever see the light of the day. But someone very persistent has urged me to come out of this shell I built up, saying that this "talking to myself thing" really won't pan out. I write to escape the real world, to go to a place where I feel like I fit in perfectly, nothing to worry, nothing to fear. I've been told that my writing is good, I've been told it's bad. I hope I don't screw up...

Breaking out of that shell can be extremely difficult but once you do, you'll be happy! Here on YWS you can get so many great reviews from so many great people. 
By the way if you write then you will fit in here perfectly too. I you are feeling lost YWS seem so big when I first joind, this club is great
