YWS Included As Resource In Book

I'm fairly certain that this is the first time YWS has appeared as a listed resource in a book, aside from the Journal of course.

Recently, I received this email:
Nate,

I'm writing to let you know that Young Writers Society is mentioned in my new book, "It's the Student, Not the College". It is included as a good resource for high school students interested in improving their writing.

I'm pretty sure if anyone on this site gets publish they will reference to YWS! This site helps writers in so many ways it would be hard not to!

Way, way back in the 1988 Presidential election, then Vice President George H W Bush had a phrase he liked to use: "A Thousand Points of Light." It refers to the idea that a community is made up of people who contribute in a thousand, different small ways, but with each helping to illuminate their community. It's a phrase I think about a lot when it comes to YWS. Looking forward, the site will continue to change and grow, but it will always remain a community dedicated to promoting creative writing as a favorite pastime.
