I may be new to this group, but I am no stranger to the art of creative writing. I've been writing since I was 11, and since awakening that spark to tell a story within me, I have come up with many many ideas for a novel. I am yet to complete any of them but let's not go into that  I'm sure we've all been there :P
I am a specialist in fictional narratives and have an extensive portfolio of dragon based stories. None of which are complete. Anyway, my main reason for joining a society such as this is because, like many, I suffer the terrible disease known only as lack of motivation. *cue dramatic thunder* Yeah...
I may get around to reviewing, but I am also one of the few writers I know that don't actually read. I find reading distracts my style of writing, and turns it into a copy of someone else's. But I enjoy interacting with people of common interests, and when one strikes the right cords, I can be truly compassionate about my writing. I also offer advice and someone to talk to for those victimized by abuse, as I myself was a victim. I seek to write a book about true stories, sent in by anonymous strangers, and how to cope with such things. Feel free to contact me if you wish to be involved. :)
Anyway, that's me. A hardcore lover of dragons, and compassionate about the written arts.

Don't i feel silly. I had to edit in the don't in "I'm one of the few writers who don't actually read." That made things sound bad :/ Oops. Serves me right for not proof reading

I know, it's shocking isn't it? I used to read lots as a kid, but as i grew older, i drew my attention and inspiration from a new source. I build scenes within my head, sometimes entire stories, complete with characters, setting and plot. I search for suitable music on youtube, like music suited for a battle, and i listen and image the ensuing battle. If i like the idea, I put it on paper. Most of my days is spent staring off into space, letting my mind wander freely and create these little stories.
And like i said, books tend to distract my writing style and twist it into someone else's. I know, I'm weird. :P

Nah, I've found books do that to me, too. It's the reason I load up on King when my writing gets prosy. XD

Maybe what most people wanted wasn't immortality and fame, but the reassurance that their existence had meant something. No matter how long... or how brief. Maybe being eternal meant becoming a story worth telling.
