Okay so I must have missed the lesson in Grade 4 when my teacher was explaining this or otherwise taken a nap through it because I have absolutely no idea whether to use toward or towards.

Are both even grammatically correct? If so when do I use one or the other? I always get so confused and seriously need help!

Thanks!! :)

According to this, both are right! It's a regional variation in spelling, like colour vs color.

I use "towards" when using the word... but both make sense, like Rosey said!

Yep, both are correct. I've read that "toward" is supposedly "more correct," for lack of a better term, and that's the one I personally use... but really, you can't go wrong either way. :D

"toward" sounds more formal and educated. i use "towards".
