Most memorable album cover art???

I'm setting up a group for people who believe in material forms of music with cover art. Vinyl, tape, cd ect... It's pretty anti-downloading.

Basically I need to know what everyone thinks of as the most memorable album cover.

Probably Abbey Road. It's been everywhere.

Most definitely Abbey Road...

For me it's London Calling just because I think the picture of Paul Simonon smashing his bass is one of the coolest photographs ever - it always sticks in my mind.

Iconic.

Yeah, both London Calling and Abbey Road are fantastic album covers, but you have to add Nirvana's Nevermind to this list . . . I had more, but now I've forgotten them! I'll be back.

OH YEAH! The Velvet Underground and Nico's album with Andy Warhol's banana on the front of it. I love that album.

The most memorable album cover for me is the Pink Floyd one with the prism and the rainbow coming out the other side. I don't know what the album is called though...

I think for me the most memorable one is Abbey Road.

Dusky:: I think that one is called 'Dark Side of the Moon', and I am in total agreement. It's a completely amazing album cover, and therefore memorable. My brother has that as his MSN avatar!

As for me, well I'll think of one later... nothing's jumping out at me right now.

Yeah Abbey road and dark side of the moon rawk my sawks. I really like ELO "Time" as well. I dunno why, its just real pretty. Oh and "Breakfast in America" by supertramp is pretty funny. wheey.

True. Both are memorable, but then who had more of an influence on music? I love the Clash, but Elvis Presley is no less of a god.
