May 2013 Review Day Stupendous Statistical Spectacular

The May 2013 Review Day was one for the ages. We had a lot of prolific and excellent reviewers, two nearly evenly matched teams, and a ton of team spirit. Please take a moment to congratulate Team Hot Sauce and the Tsunami Tyrants along with their respective captains: @GeeLyria and @Sparkofdoubt!

The teams tussled back and forth early on, with Hot Sauce taking an initial lead of more than 2000 points! Tsunami managed to narrow that down, and then gushed itself forward to claim a 900 point lead. Not to be outdone, Hot Sauce burned that lead and took once again its place at the top.

Things changed, though, during the quiet hours. The Tsunami Tyrants slowly built up a lead over a period of several hours until they had placed themselves 7,000 points out front! Hot Sauce managed, though, to make a strong push at the end of the day, finishing only 1,500 points behind.

This was certainly the best Review Day I've been to! Everyone cooperated, the spirit was bouncing around in both teams, and it was so fun we hit the goal and kept reviewing! Can't wait 'til June 30!

My reviews were all 100 or 150 points. . . . I should have paid more attention to the Green room.
