Oyhmia - Female Lyth Dragon

Spoiler
We are starting!

The wind whizzed past as Oyhmia winged her way back to the lonely cave she could not bear to call home. Glassy lakes shot her silver reflection back into her sad eyes.

Oyhmia was alone. Everyone else had died, even her best friend, Morenta, a Squink Dragon. Oyhmia sighed and felt the salty tear slide down her scaled face. Morenta had been the perfect companion, sweet, caring, and even though she was small, had the biggest heart. Then the accidental virus swept her away forever.

The caves open maw rose quickly into view. Oyhmia dove inside, landing hard, her razor blade claws screeching to a halt against the rocky floor. The deer carcass she had messily devoured minutes before filled her stomach, making her sleepy and content. But how could she be content when her life was lived in weary solitude and sadness?

Sleep eventually came after hours of staring at the roof, watching as smoke rings curled into the air. Oyhmia dreamt of friends, new friends that she felt would never be real outside of her fantasies.

Tasbenther "Tasby" - Squink

Tasby crashed into a ground, the echo of a cry still lingering on his tongue. Rocks and twigs cut into his skin and lodged into his mouth. Honestly, he hadn't seen the protruding tree branch until it clipped his right wing and sent him spiraling to the ground. He couldn't see much of anything really, as the world around him seemed to be constantly turning. Quickly, he sat up and let out a loud groan of frustration. Not only was he hungry, but he now was injured too.

That thought nearly prompted him to tears, more from frustration than from actual sadness. He hadn't eaten in three days, hadn't slept in five, and could feel the start of a crash taking its toll on him. Tasby's wings fluttered frantically on his back, lifting his limp and sore body into the air. He'd thought he heard an animal calling, he couldn't exactly remember what sound it made, or even if there was a sound at all, but he did recall shooting off in search for it, no problem.

With a grunt, he tried to start off again on his search, but was confronted by two obstacles: One, he didn't remember exactly where he was going before the crash and, two, he couldn't convince his body to move. A pathetic whimper escaped his mouth as he tried to force himself to progress anywhere, but he only hovered, debilitated, in the middle of the air. He thought to swear, but shut down without much of a fight. He was way too tired, and his eyes were closed before he hit the ground.

Just before he faded into the alluring darkness, a deer came trampling through the brush, and, in that moment, Tasby was more grateful than ever that pain could not be felt in sleep.
A pale imitator of a girl in the sky.

The wind under my winds was very different from the powerful winds that came off the sea. But after travelling for some time I was starting to under stand how to navigate this wind but not it's lands. The trees and the small bodes of water where different but I didn't really know where I was going it was a feeling that was leading me and hope. I have been traveling for 4 weeks and only see one dragon but they where already dead and rotting.

out of my eye I see some movement just below me so I circle around and head in when I get closer I see it is a deer. But just before I could get there I see a green thing plow it down. what in the world could that be a squink I stay at a hover and wait until the small dragon was done to come any closer.

Oriad M'Lenor

I breathed in the air, sniffling a little bit, but otherwise the air was beautiful, perfectly clear. The virus was gone in this area.

Gone? Completely gone? That was something I thought I would never hear myself say, but I did. The air here was clean of the virus.

I growled, and the jungle brush around me vibrated from the power my power. This was a sign. A sign of hope that all of the earth could be like this one day. I flexed my muscles and opened my wings, the hope that the dragon race could survive again revitalizing my spirit.

Forming inside of my body, my power radiated from my body, burning the nearest trees to a crisp. One day, I thought, one day, I might be able to find some other dragon. One day, maybe I will find an Arc Dragon, and our race will finally be restored.

I took flight, and the air around me became thick with lightning. There was a future, and even if that future didn't involve me, by the Arcs who saved me, I will revive the Dragon Race.

I lit up the night sky with my power, lightning erupting from my maw. It was a new day.
