My Poem! Day 1 ^.^

She Sat With A Darkness
Creeping Over Her Skin
It Showed No Signs Of Leaving
It Let Itself In.

She Cried Every Night
Wanting To Be Free
The Pain She Was Given
No-One Could See.

A Boy Came Along
And He Took Her Hand
He Showed Her The Way
To The Promise Land.

She Knew She'd Been Saved
From Suffering And Hurt
But This Poem Tells A Story
You Must Stay Alert.

Look Out For The Lonely
Forgotten And Scarred
For You Could Be Their Savior
Take Away Their Bars.

You Could Give Them Hope
And Save Their Days
Make Them Smile
Teach Them To Play.

They Will Always Be Scarred
But Hurt Can Also Fade
Be The Hero
And Save The Day!

My Poem! Day 1!

I've never heard of this before. What fun! Thirty poems? Piece of cake. :) So since I'm starting just about halfway into the month, I'm going to have to kick it into overdrive.

You flare, you flicker, you fade... And in the end, all your tomorrows become yesterdays.
