Um... hi.

My name is Hannah, I'm from Texas, and I enjoy words in all their forms.

Really not quite sure what else to say here, other than that I'm excited to be here and see how much I can grow!

Thanks for reading this pathetic thing, I guess?

In all sincerity,

-Hannah/Sec/Joy, whichever you prefer

Hey, Joy! Welcome to YWS :)

I think I've met you in chat. It's brilliant to see you getting involved so soon! How are you liking the site? What do you like to write?

You seem like a really cool person and I hope you stick around :)

If you ever need help, just PM me or someone else in green and they'll be glad to help you out.

Hope to see you around!

Hi! I think we sort of met in chat, too! So, welcome to YWS! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

And I never *ever* know what to put on intros, either. I especially hate them when I'm starting a new blog - those are the worst!

Hannah! Hey :) A BIG WELCOME TO YWS!

The YWS stands for, as everyone knows, Young Writers' Society. Since you have a passion for words and this is a big family swimming with writers, then you must fit in perfectly with us! But of course, we're not all just writers here, we're also a big bunch of reviewers, readers, forum repliers, club members and Sumo wrestlers!

Wait, cut the last thing on that sentence :) ^

Anyways, I'm also very excited for having you with us! Can't wait to see your works and your overall development!

If you've any questions or requests, don't be shy to drop by my wall!

Yours indefinitely,
Alf :)

P.S. Sorry for the hyperactivity. It's all because of highly caffeinated tea's fault!

Hi, Joy. I'm Cas. I also adore words. English words, German words, etc. Names, especially. I love the little hidden meanings and stories. Serendipity is one of my favorites; katze is another. :D How 'bout you?

Otherwise, I write mostly prose and free verse poetry. If you write in either of these categories (or in others), I could probably write some reviews for you. And I think you've managed to figure out the site pretty well so far (you have an avatar, thank you for that), but if you have any questions, shoot me a PM or whatnot. And I'm a mentor here, so doing such things is sort of my job.

Also, I'm terrible at introductions, so don't feel bad. Seriously, I can almost never read them again. I cringe. -nods seriously-

Hey, welcome!

I'm sure you'll love it here, and find all that you're looking for.. I love words too (I think everyone here does, though) :3
What kind(s) of things do you write?

I'll be looking forward to your entries, and to seeing you around.. And if you ever need anything, or just want to talk, do feel free to message me or stop by at my wall.. Both as a YWS mentor and a friendly neighbour, I will do my best to help (or talk, or review, or introduce you to other people, or whatever) ;)

Also, Warehouse 13? :D

Thanks everyone! Hm. My favorite words are sesquipedalian, affection, and eclipse (not of the Stephanie Meyer variety; that got old in sixth grade), for their meanings as well as their sounds. I stay typically in the realm of fantasy and scifi novels, but do dabble in realistic/run-of-the-mill YA that I hope is just unique enough. I am very interested in poetry, especially the spoken varieties, but I kind of suck at writing it.

Can't wait to get some material up for reading!

Okay, I am now loving sesquipedalian. :D As for you writing fantasy and sci-fi, awesome! I love me some speculative fiction. As for the poetry thing, as long as you can read and understand poetry, there's a good chance you can eventually get good at writing it. Practice makes perfect. My suggestions? Think of the first piece of prose you wrote...and don't judge yourself too harshly.

Oh, and when you do get some material up for reading? Hit me up. I will try to review it ASAP.

Hey there Joy! Glad to see you here at YWS! It's a very friendly place to be and great for writing tips!
Speaking of writing, how long have you been writing?
Are you writing any novels right now? What's your favorite color? (Off topic I know, I'm just weird like that :) )
If you ever just want to talk with someone about writing or just random things, feel free to PM me and I'll reply as soon as I can!

I hope you have fun on YWS. ~Grit
