Hi, everyone. My name is Soot. I'm new to this website and I'd like some help with maneuvering through it.

Besides the technical stuff, let me tell you about myself. I'm not much of a writer (But I still love to read fiction!)...more of an artist or a debater. Yes, I can use big words when necessary.

I also enjoy photography. It's one of my many loves. And sci-fy movies! They're awesome. Oh! Before you ask, no. I'm not a music person. Neither is my voice. -_-

So, to conclude, I'm really excited to be on this website. I've heard good things. And I hope I can find some good friends here and improve my skills.

I also love Sci-Fi and I was not much of a writer when I joined. But the community here has helped me improve tremendously since then. So you can improve your writing here if you wish to go that route.

You can also read (all kinds of things) and post art/photography too!

I'll try my best to answer any questions about the site if you want. But you may just want to click the "Who's Online" in the bottom left or enter the chat room and look for someone who's name is in red/green to help you. (They are the Administrators/Moderators or Jr. Moderators).

So, how do you work the forums, and which one should I go to first? (In your opinion.)

And how do you upload a picture in your post?

Well, it depends which forums you want to check out. You mentioned art and Photography, so you could go there if you want. There is also a debate forum.

I spend most of my time in the "will review for food" forum either requesting reviews in someone's thread or looking for stuff to review. (although I don't do the latter nearly enough).

As far as pictures go, I think you want to hit "full reply" and then click the "img" button and put the link in there. Not 100% sure about that, but I think that's how you do it.

Just keep an eye out for topics at the top of the forums that are stickied. If there are any (depending on which forum) they usually have any rules or guidelines for posting there.
